Just out of curiosity, what time zone do you live in? I love your blog but I never seem to catch updates on my dash and end up drifting over here once a month and being like WHENNN DID I MISS ALL THISSSS. Usually when that happens its because the other blogger is only active when it's the middle of the night here and we always miss each other, haha.

heh ^^; in all honesty I generally don’t get my posts up on here until it’s like around 3am for me, mostly because I draw all day until it’s incredibly late and then I just get to a point where I have to get it done while i’m still awake even if i’m up until 4.

but to answer your question I live in the pacific timezone….currently PDT since it’s summer ^^ so if you live near the area then yea you might be asleep by the time I get to post something lol

only time I don’t post anything super late is if I have a queue up ^^ then It generally get’s posted around 1-2pm :)

I might do something like that in the future. But fair warning I really really suck at explaining things so I tend to avoid that kind of stuff lolol. The most it’ll probably be is less of a tutorial and more of …tips I guess? or just a step by step on how I draw my dogs *shrug* idk lol but whenever I do get around to doing something like that i’ll be sure to put a message on here for it for ya guys ^^

and to answer you question…iii’m gonna put this under a read-more since it’s probably going to turn into a long-winded answer that deserves more than a lame doodle lol

so as far as other characters go in this AU like Bones or other creatures such as skinwalkers and familiars It really depends???

I don’t exactly have a set rule for that sort of thing. Mostly because I have this incredible ability to not really think anything through until the last minute, but also because different situations work for different characters (like having a human character stay human for the sake of having a different way to tell the same story) .But generally until it gets addressed in a question I probably have only thought about it once or twice (I’m so great at this AU thing I know). Depending on how I think the relationship will work best with the main characters is how I decide if I should tweak what they are or something.

Like Bones for example. I can see him being a human with the roles reversed (Sam being a pet and having a sort of ‘family’ with a human and a home, giving him a more stable life than he did constantly being on the move with his dad and dean). But I could also see Bones as being a dog still but being more of his buddy that he hangs out with for a while before he meets Jess. *shrug* it kind of all just depends on how I personally feel works best for this AU.

And speaking of Jess I actually do have a story for that, that’s sort of what you’re talking about (it’s in her bio btw) but instead of her and Sam being pre-law students they both live with this girl who goes to school and they vicariously learn a bunch of things by living with her and going to school with her

Familiars are a bit more difficult seeing as how they are animals to begin with that end up being bonded to humans. I think instead of just having animals with familiars it makes more sense that the characters that would usually have them (i.e witches, warlocks and other magic users) would be familiars themselves. (take that cat in my last comic for an example. it was the familiar to a human witch but it is able to make magic of it’s own in this AU instead of just being a guide to the human). Yea i’m probably making it more complicated that way lol but it just makes more sense to me than giving an animal a familiar that’s also an animal??? And obvs some canon things would have to be changed, like in this AU the ‘Man’s Best Friends With Benefits’ ep would go a little differently. Buuuuut, I’d have to think about that more to really say how rofls

Anyways I hope that helped! ….sorry for anyone who thought I was more put together with this stuff XD but i’m really not. My mind is always in a jumble when it comes to figuring out things and I am always in awe when people can just make these intensely complex ideas that work seamlessly.

It would be no surprise if my story had some plot holes but this blog is just for the lols for me and I focus more on making it fun than making it a completely fullproof masterpiece (notsureifgoodorbadbutwhatevs) .

Either way I love thinking of stuff like this!! It really gets my creative juices flowing mmhmm.

sorry to hear that <:/ but…this is sort of based off of a bloody/horror themed show so it will be on this blog too. Even though this is a pretty cracky universe where it seems lighter and happier…it’s not really, it’s just the same general plot but with animals, so all the bloody gory things that happen in spn will happen here too

and the reason it’s a cat isn’t really for any special reason. I was just tired of drawing dogs so I wanted to make a cat character for once lol…it just happened to be a witch cat…that incidentally dies. :/

“A creature of brimstone and the souls of the damned. It’s not quite a Demon dog like Meg or Alistair, and far from possessing any sanity. They’ve been described as being the result of a dog damned to hell and spawned from eons of it’s own suffering.”

Okay so the way that I feel the Hellhounds should work in this AU is basically when the dogs go to hell after centuries and centuries of being there, over a long period of time they start to become either Demon dogs or Hellhounds. A Hellhound is on a lower tier than a Demon dog, acting only on it’s untamed rage-full instincts. No hunter really knows which dogs become Hellhounds and which become Demon dogs, it’s guessed at perhaps being the character of the dog but it could very well be how long they’ve been in hell or how they handle it. The more cunningly evil dogs are believed to become Demon dogs, proof of that being Crowley and Meg.

The Hellhounds work under the rule of the Demon dogs, collecting the souls of the damned that sold their souls at a crossroads. Crowley of course has one, and they are also invisible in this AU. except for certain occasions~
